Multi-instrumentalist, singer, composer, producer and son of art - his father Roberto senior is a drummer and his mother is a singer and a dancer of the Tropicana Club - Roberto Fonseca already nominated for the Grammy
Awards, draws heavily on the Cuban Afro
tradition.
Rolling Stone magazine defined him as the best of the "Newpolitan Sound", placing his album amoung the best of 2024. Dario Bassolino accompanied by his band makes savor the music of the 70s between the first Pino Daniele and the soundtracks of detective films.

Lemonjazz Festival Sorrento 2024 opens the doors of Tasso Theater offering a programm rich of artists to discover. Concerts will start at 21 pm and tickets will be available soon online and by Tasso Theater Ticketoffice.
The Lemonjazz Festival is organized by the Sorrento Foundation with the patronage of the Municipality of Sorrento and the Ministry of Culture.
On the way of Lemonjazz Festival
The Lemonjazz Festival was born in 2012 from an idea of artistic director Mario Mormone. It takes place in the splendid Villa Fiornetino in Sorrento. The first edition was crowned by the likes of Avio Travel, Claudio Jr De Rosa4tet with Alfredo Rodriguez Trio, James Taylor Quartet, Livio Minafra with Javier Girotto & Aires Tango and Billy Cobham accompanied by Stanley Jordan and Christian Galvez. Already in the first edition there was great appreciation from the public. The success of this event was confirmed in the second edition, which had as guests Stanley Clarke, Roy Hargrove, Yellowjackets. Gegè Telesforo and the Bobo Trio also took the stage. There was no shortage of participation from local companies and artists. Thanks to this mix, the festival has continued to gain appreciation and followers. The third edition is in 2019 when a sensational programme once again creates an extraordinary event. Jazzmeia Horn, Francesco Cafiso 4tet, Scott HendersonTrio, Doug Lawrence with John Trentacosta and Tuck & Patti take the stage. The audience turnout reaffirms its success, such for Lemonjazz 2022 thanks to artits like Richard Galliano, Joe Bastianich & Terza Classe, Matteo Mancuso and Naturally 7, as well as the 2023 edition (look at the poster).
